vinnie's snares

I've been wondering which snares does vinnie uses live... i've heard you guys talk about the longo snare, noble & cooley, brady,etc (besides signature models).
As i went through my videos of sting's live performances (yamaha era)i noticed a chromed snare maybe 6,5" deep, does anyone knows which snare is that?
LA HODERS could give, the rest of us that don't get to see him live, some insight about his snares...
Also, is it true that he uses renown and usa maple series from gretsch for some of his gigs?

I have never seen Vinnie use a Brady, but he does use a 60's COB 5x14 Gretsch quite abit. Also he uses the Longo.

If you're referring to the Soul Cages video, that's the limited Zildjian N&C snare from the late 80's.

Derek i was reffering to the ten summoner's tales video, but i watched the soul cages concert and i can't imagine how you could manage to see the brand of the snare, all i could see was the rim and the head.
i was watching chaka kan's dvd and i can't figure out which kit is that.
Any information on the longo snares?

At the recent show here at The Vic, he was using his signature 5x13 white snare with black hardware.

What is the longo snare?!?!?!

The Chaka Khan dvd he is using the Gretsch 5x14 COB.

Randy: i suspected it was the cob because i own one (from the 90's), and they look similar(i suppose it's the same one he uses on the modern drummer festival).
What about the drum kit (chaka kan)? is that a custom gretsch?

I think the Gretsch from that DVD is an older kit, but I am not 100%. As to the COB, again I would have to rewatch the DVD but I think that's the snare. His is older, from like 1960. His has the etching on it. That's the more popular style Gretsch made.
